Parnas Ensemble
The Parnas has been formed in 1990s' as the Parnas Quartet, followed by its larger line-up Parnas Ensemble in 2007, by members of the Prague Symphony Orchestra to fill a void in the Prague musical community for a high–calibre chamber group performing both light classical and ballroom dance music. Critics have stressed their brilliant art, their virtuosity and sense for a polished dramaturgy of individual performances.
The Parnas Ensemble specializes in pieces of easy–listening classical music, classical favorites, and ballroom dance music. Apart from the well-known works of the classical music literature (Mozart, Haydn, Beethoven, Schubert, Smetana, Dvořák, Tchaikovsky), an integral part of its repertoire is formed by miniatures as well as transcriptions of famous works composed for other instrumental set-up or originating in other genre spheres (Strauss, Offenbach, Gershwin, Joplin).
Its versatile and extensive repertoire enables the Parnas Ensemble to offer classical and contemporary music for varied occasions. Since its premiere engagement, the group has been invited to perform at prestigious international congresses such as the NATO Prague Summit in 2002, at various social events, for dignitaries such as Václav Havel, as well as special occasions and concerts in the greater Prague area and abroad.
Since 2007, the ensemble has recorded two CDs with the most popular classical tunes, performed many concerts, especially in Rudolfinum–the prestigious concert house in Prague, and toured Japan with a great success in 2012 as well as in 2014. The Parnas Ensemble strives to satisfy not only the music critics but first, and foremost, its audience of listeners.

Design & layout 
Vladimír Jelínek studied the Prague Conservatory with Jaroslav Vodrážka and completed his musical education in Netherlands. He is music director of St. Joseph’s Church in Prague and an organist of the St. Jacob's choir. He gives regularly concerts in the Czech Republic and abroad. He participated on many recordings (e.g. for the Czech Television, ZDF, RAI, the Czech Radio). He cooperates with many ensembles. He is head of organ class in Dobruška and he creates music for silent films and for theatre performances. Into his concert programs there is often included an organ improvisation. More info at: 
At the Prague Conservatory, Eva Polívková Bublová studied organ and piano, and she earned a degree in organ at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague under the tutelage of Associate Professor Jaroslav Tuma (2000). Thereafter she studied with Jean Boyer at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique in Lyon, Franceand at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague, this time in the harpsichord class of Giedre Luksaite-Mrazkova. Eva Bublova has been a prizewinner at several international competitions (Prague Spring International Organ Competition, Gottfried Silbermann Internazionaler Orgelwettbewerb, Prix Joseph Bossard, etc.) As a soloist she has performed with many orchestras, she has made several recordings for Czech, Slovak, Austrian and Luxembourg radio broadcasting companies, and she has given concerts in most European countries, Japan and Canada. Miroslav Pšenička is a Czech organist, regenschori at the church of St. Anthony in Prague, and a concert artist. After studies of organ at the Prague Academy of Arts, he studied trumpet at the Prague Conservatory, he became a choir director at the St. Bartholomew Cathedral in Pilsen and took care about church music in the diocese. Currently he leads Cours for church musicians held by Archbishopric of Prague. More info at: 
Vladimír Roubal completed his studies at the Plzen Conservatory under prof. Jitka Chaloupková and at the Prague Conservatory under prof. Jan Hora. He studied organ improvisation under prof. Jaroslav Vodrážka. In the period of 1980 ÷ 1985 he was the organist in the cathedral of St. Bartolomeus in Plzen, in 1985-1990 in St. Margaret’s Basilica at the Benedictines Abbey in Prague – Břevnov. Since 1990 he has been the Director of sacred music of the Premonstratensian Royal Canonry, in the Basilica of Assumption of the Virgin Mary in Prague Strahov. He founded a choir and orchestra Collegium Strahoviense there and he acts as his Artistic Manager and Conductor. He is known as an outstanding improvisator, he won the first prices for organ improvisation in two national competitions (1982, 1988). So far he played concerts in the Czech Republic, Germany, Austria, Hungary, the Netherlands, Italy, Spain, France, Poland, Romania, Moldova, the U.S.A and Japan. Roubal has recorded a number of CD, he is an author of film music, cooperates with Czech Radio, as well as with radio organizations in Germany, Netherlands and Japan, in recording music on historical organ instruments. In 2007 he played a special concert for the First Lady of the U.S.A. – Madame Laura Bush, during the official visit of the President of the U.S.A. to Prague, Czech Republic. More info at: 
Jaroslav Tůma was born and educated in Prague. He graduated from the Prague Conservatory and the Academy of Musical Arts, where he now teaches organ performance and improvisation. While still a student, Mr. Tuma won prizes at several international competitions, including Linz, Prague, and Leipzig. In addition to being a concert organist, Mr. Tuma also performs on harpsichord, clavichord, and fortepiano. He is known throughout the world for his improvisations, which earned him first prizes at both the Haarlem and Nuremberg competitions. He has been guest performer at the Prague Spring Festival, Musikfestspiele in Dresden, and the Flanders Festival and he continues to concertize in prestigious concert venues in Europe, the United States, and Japan. A champion of new music, Mr. Tuma performs works by his contemporaries and is a composer of note, as well. Through 1990-1993, he performed in Prague the complete works of J. S. Bach. He records for radio, television, and numerous recording companies. His discography includes twenty solo recordings, most recently a recording for the Supraphon label of Part I and II of J. S. Bach's Well-Tempered Clavier performed on clavichord. More info at: 
Daniela Valtová Kosinová belongs to the most noticeable organists of her generation. She graduated at the Music conservatory in Pardubice, continued with organ studies at the Academy of performing arts in Prague under leadership of doc. Jaroslav Tůma. In 2002 she has won the 3rd prize and the titul of the laureate at the International organ competition in Brno. She performes all over Europe; in 2003 in Madrid she represented the Czech republic at the concert of the countries newly accepted to EU; in 2007 she made her debut with solo organ recital in Gewandhaus in Leipzig. In the same year she performed a recital together with a fenomenal british trumpetist Alison Balsom during the Prague spring festival in Dvořák hall of Rudolfinum. She also cooperates with Czech Philmarmony and Czech radio orchestras and other ensembles. In last few years she crosses the borders of the classic music; in her songs she creates the space for her inspiration by jazz, blues, american country and other genres. In 2010 she released her debut album MEETING POINT together with eminent Czech jazz musicians. Her song LULLABY went through the semifinal of the world singers / songwriters competition in Nashville.
